When will AATS be available for processing year 2019 testing? 

AATS will be available on Friday 11/02/2018 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern for processing year 2019 testing. Processing year 2019 testing includes tax years 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015.

When will AATS be unavailable due to IRS programming updates?

AATS will be unavailable beginning Friday, 10/26/2018 12:00 a.m. Eastern to 11/02/2018 8:59 a.m. Eastern. AIR will update programming for processing year 2019 AATS during this time.


Which WSDLs do I use for Processing Year 2019?

  • AATS: Beginning 11/2/2018, use the Processing Year 2019 AATS WSDL package titled "FS19-TY18 AATS WSDL Package Nov 2018". All transmissions to AATS starting 11/2/2018 must use:
    • Processing Year 2019 AATS WSDLs
    • the 2018 manifest, including prior year returns 2015, 2016 and 2017

Which WSDLs do I use for Processing Year 2018?

  • AATS: Use the AATS WSDL Package titled "FS18-TY17 AATS WSDL Package" until 11/1/2018. All transmissions to AATS through 11/1/2018 must use:
    • Processing Year 2018 AATS WSDLs
    • the 2017 manifest, including prior year returns 2015 and 2016
  • Production: Use the Production WSDL Package titled "FS18-TY17 Production WSDL Package" through December, 2018. All transmissions to Production must use:
    • Processing Year 2018 Production WSDLs
    • the 2017 manifest, including prior year returns 2015 and 2016

08/23/2018: Currently, the ISS-A2A Gateway accepts SHA-1 and higher algorithms (SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512) during the validation of WS-Security. Beginning November (for AATS) and January (for Production), AIR will no longer support SHA-1 from the accepted Signature and Digest methods used to digitally sign ISS-A2A transmissions
